I am a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon and I hold subspecialty accreditation in Cataract, Eyelid and Glaucoma Surgery since training at Linköping University in Sweden and Ulster University. I am a high volume cataract surgeon and have vast experience of small incision cataract surgery having performed more than 28,000 cataract procedures. Vision correction surgery with Premium Implants,Multifocal Implants and Implantable Contact lens is another area I have long experience with. I perform also Oculoplastic(Eyelid) Surgery, such as removal of redundant skin, upper & Lower Blepharoplasty, removal of lumps and bumps, correction on malformation of the eye lids. I enjoy a very high success rate and publish my results annually. More than 99% of my patients would recommend me for eye surgery. I am a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and in addition, hold membership within both the American and European Societies of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, along with the UK and Northern Ireland Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. I have published papers on the topic of cataract and Lens implant surgery and have given lectures on the latest and state of the art surgical techniques.
