James Winger, MD, is a family physician and primary care doctor at Loyola Medicine. His clinical interests include musculoskeletal injuries, sports medicine and sports injuries. Dr. Winger is an associate professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. Dr. Winger earned his medical degree at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed a residency in family medicine at West Suburban Hospital Medical Center and a fellowship in family medicine and sports medicine at Lutheran General Hospital. Dr. Winger is board certified in family medicine and sports medicine.
