Founder at MedCourse | I worked for 5 years as a medical trainee in the NHS, but working hard on the COVID frontline made me take a step back and think about what I wanted from my future. While I loved medicine, I found increasingly that my passion for technology, medical education, and business was leading me down the path of entrepreneurship. So, I made the decision to leave hospital medicine and create a medical education start-up – MedCourse. I developed MedCourse with a collection of friends, colleagues, and trusted advisors, and have big ambitions to play my part in modernising postgraduate medical education for the age of the internet. I loved to use up my study days (and budget…) and spend my time learning. The trouble was that searching for a course in the first place was so difficult, and finding the time to traverse the excruciating booking process was nigh impossible. MedCourse is the solution to this – connecting clinicians with course providers, giving both groups a win.
