Dr. James Beggs relocated to Bay County at the end of 2005 and established his medical practice at 200 Doctors Drive in Panama City, Florida. He is Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery. He is the only Fellowship Trained Head/Neck Reconstruction Surgeon in Bay County. Dr. Beggs is also a specialist in cancers of the head and neck. After attending Medical School at the University of Florida College of Medicine, Dr. Beggs did his Internship and Residency at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He was Fellowship trained at the Washington University College of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri in Microvascular Head and Neck Reconstruction. He is the only microvascular Fellowship trained physician in Bay County. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Beggs’ additional medical experience includes an Academic Practice at Moffitt Cancer Center as well as working for the Veterans Administration. Dr. Beggs has privileges at Gulf Coast Medical Center as well as Bay Medical Center.
