Dr. Gurleen Bhatia is a highly experienced consultant psychiatrist with over 25 years of experience in the field. She has worked extensively in both hospital and community settings, providing treatments for patients across a wide range of needs, including older adults and those with complex physical health needs as well as in the field of forensic psychiatry. She is currently based at Living Mind and consults from Harley Street, London, and Brentwood. At Living Mind she works as a consultant in the gender clinic. Dr Bhatia gained her medical degree in 1997 from Mangalore University. She went on to train in general practice and obstetrics and gynaecology before specialising in psychiatry. Her basic and higher training was undertaken in the Charing Cross Scheme, and she completed her training with a CCT in general adult psychiatry and rehabilitation psychiatry. She also holds an MRCPsych from the Royal College of Psychiatrists, London.In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Bhatia is also skilled in research, medical education, and change management.
