I have always been interested in health and how exercise can be used to assist with the rehabilitation of people with chronic diseases, such as multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease, as well as how it can also benefit the general populations health and wellbeing. Since starting my course in sports exercise and health science, I have become particularly interested in neuroprosthetics and how these can help restore mobility in patients suffering with paralysis and spinal cord injuries as well as other functions such as breathing. My course also offers a range of interdisciplinary modules such as business courses and marketing courses, which I have undertaken as part of my degree program. These two interests have led me to wanting to pursue a career in medical sales.
