Dr. Iuliana Eparu joined Priory Hospital North London in 2018 as a consultant for the adolescent inpatient units child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS). She has been working diligently to provide top-notch care for her patients since she began.Dr Eparu trained as a medical doctor and as a child and adolescent psychiatrist in Romania. She has worked extensively in the UK since 2011, mostly as a highly sought-after consultant for the NHS CAMHS department. Dr Eparu is an expert in diagnosing and treating young people with emotional difficulties, who self-harm or experience suicidal ideation, have severe depression and anxiety disorders, emerging personality disorders such as OCD or psychosis, autism spectrum conditions (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or eating difficulties. She is a specialist associate of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and has completed training in the Autistic Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and the Developmental, Dimensional and Diagnostic Interview (3di).Dr Eparu believes that it is a great privilege to be part of young peoples journey during some of their most difficult times; she feels honoured by their courage and determination to change things around, and very proud to support them and their families.
