Passionate about creating a more sustainable future, I specialize in the intersection of natural and industrial systems, with a focus on climate action and decarbonization, circularity, the bioeconomy, and entrepreneurship and innovation. I'm a Fulbright Scholar and graduate of the Master of Environmental Management at Yale University. Here's a few of the things I've been up to recently: + Consulting for the World Bank on Eco-Industrial Parks in Morocco + Member of the winning team, Banofi Leather, at the $1M Hult Prize in September 2023 + Evaluating the conversion of waste into sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in partnership with Pratt & Whitney Science is at the heart of everything I do. I majored in chemistry and hold a Bachelor of Science Advanced - Global Challenges from Monash University. Through work at Outset Ventures, a deep tech startup incubator and investor, and AgResearch's commercialization team, I understand the challenges and opportunities for translating technical solutions into impact. And I'm always up for an exciting challenge. It's taken me everywhere - from collecting roadkill hair on the backroads of Tasmania, to tackling a huge waste clean-up alongside hundreds of volunteers, the military, and the Department of Conservation on New Zealand's remote west coast.
