Professor Iqbal Shergill is a Consultant Urologist in Wrexham, North Wales, and Chester, Cheshire. He obtained his medical degree from Charing Cross & Westminster Medical School in 1997 and subsequently undertook Basic Surgical Training on the Oxford Rotation and later Higher Surgical Training in Urology, on the North Thames Deanery Rotation. Prof Shergill has worked in some of the most prestigious national centres where he developed expertise in the management of urinary tract stone disease, laser prostatectomy, complex uro-oncology disease, and the management of benign and malignant urological disease using laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery. Professor Shergill sees patients with a range of urological conditions and is particularly interested in benign and malignant prostatic disease, urological oncology, kidney stones disease, urinary tract infections, bladder pain syndrome and testicular pain. Professor Shergill is always at the forefront of the advances in the field of urology. He regularly attends national and international conferences and is a member of numerous medical associations.
