Dr. London is originally from St. Petersburg, Russia (formerly Leningrad). She obtained her medical degree from Leningrad Pediatric Medical Institute. While at Leningrad, one of the best medical schools in Russia, she won awards for her research on asthma in children. Graduating in 1983, she completed her Pediatric residency at St. Petersburg Children’s Hospital, a large tertiary referral center. Dr. London then practiced at Municipal Clinic for 3 years and was offered an academic attending position at Children’s Hospital where she was a Hospitalist for 10 years. In 1997 she immigrated to the US. She completed her second 3-year Pediatric residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in 2004. Dr. London is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She has been an attending at the Pediatric Emergency department at Suburban Hospital -Johns Hopkins Medicine since 2004. While continuing to work at the Pediatric department at Suburban Hospital, she started her private pediatrics practice in 2008. Dr. London was recognized as Doctor of the year by Suburban Hospital-Johns Hopkins Medicine pediatric emergency department in 2018. She earned the Compassionate Doctor Award in 2008, 2016, 2017, 2018.
