Dr Imane Guermah is a Spanish board certified Nephrologist. She started her practice in Barcelona, Spain, 10 years ago and then she moved to Paris to the reputed Tenon Hospital where she was working until 2020. She is an expert in renal replacement therapies for patients with chronic and acute kidney disease. She was responsible for kidney transplantation management and clinical nephrology in Paris. She also gained experience in haemodialysis including dialysis at home and was Regional Medical Head in Dubaï and the Northern Emirates for a home dialysis group. She has a strong experience in autoimmune diseases management and glomerulonephritis and has special interest in resistant hypertension, diabetic nephropathy and kidney stones. She has co-authored several publications and presented several works in international congresses. She was awarded by the Spanish Society of Nephrology for her work for Tubulointerstitial Nephritis.
