I currently lead a management team in the delivery of inpatient clinical services for complex children and youth from across Ontario. My team supports children and youth with significant and often comorbid mental health, developmental and medical needs. Leading a team of 16 managers supporting over 200 staff in the delivery of services, I ensure we work collaboratively with families, communities and clients to provide trauma informed clinical interventions across 6 inpatient units. As a purpose driven leader, I ensure my team reflects the importance of diversity, organizational strategy while building positive, safe, resilient cultures where employees and clients can thrive. I work across systems and sectors to ensure a client centred approach is maintained as we identify organizational and system needs, and manage change in a labour relations environment. I connect and inspire others to think innovatively and creatively about their work, with individual clients and to change systems. As a leader for teams in Research, Quality Assurance and Administration, I have a focus on ensuring services are efficient, measurable, high quality and provide the solutions needed. My previous accomplishments have impacted change at the local and regional system level to support standardization in decision making, and the delivery and measurement of Children Mental Health services. As a trusted partner with community stakeholders, I led a team to implement new standardized tools to improve the children's mental health system at over 70 partner locations across Ontario and internationally. I am a results proven, quality driven professional with a solutions focused outlook on life.
