Dr.Heather Han is a Senior Member and Director of Clinical Research in theDepartment of Breast Oncology. Dr. Han received her medical degree from SeoulNational University College of Medicine in South Korea. Following herinternship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Cleveland ClinicFoundation in Ohio, she completed the medical oncology and hematologyfellowship at the University of Miami. Shejoined the faculty at Moffitt Cancer Center in the Department of Breast Oncologyin 2008. Dr. Han is the principal investigator of multiple clinicaltrials investigating novel therapies to improve the outcomes of patients of bothearly and advanced-stage breast cancer. She has worked with scientists atMoffitt and is the principal investigator of several investigator-initiatedimmunotherapy trials using dendritic cell vaccine for HER2 positive early stageand metastatic breast cancer. She presented her research at national andinternational meetings and has authored over 70 research publications.
