Hugh Steer is a mindful and dedicated optometrist serving the community of Arlington, VA. He is from neighboring Maryland. Dr. Steer attended Salus University, Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where he received his degree in optometry. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in visual sciences at Salus University and his bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Howard University. Patients see him for a variety of reasons, including eye infection, glaucoma consultation, dry eye, eyeglasses, and, macular degeneration. Dr. Steer is an avid soccer player and fan. He conducts his appointments with the personalized care and attention that he would expect for his own family. His philosophy is to care for his patients beyond the eye exam experience in addressing the patients comprehensive health needs.
