Dr. Houd Al Shanqiti graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) in 2012 and completed a residency program in Family Medicine in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He received the Arab board of Family Medicine from the Arab board of health specializations in 2021 in UAE. Dr. Al Shanqiti treats patients of all ages for all common acute and chronic medical issues such as general medical diseases, diabetes, thyroid diseases, hypertension, COPD, asthma, common dermatological and mental problems. He provides health advice for men and women, contraception counselling and prescription, preventative services, premarital screening and counselling, occupational health and pre-employment assessment and fitness, travel medicine advice, sport medicine advice, vaccinations for adults and children, tobacco addiction treatment, weight loss managements and well-baby clinic. Dr. Houd Al Shanqiti is a member of Emirates medical association (EMA), American association of family medicine (AAFP), Emirates family medicine society (EFMS). He performs small outpatient procedures such as soft tissue injections, suturing of wounds and incisions and drainages of abscesses and other dermatological procedures including wart treatment with liquid nitrogen and others.
