I am a self-motivated and versatile individual with excellent communication, IT, presentation and organisational skills. Throughout my career I have a track record of achievements in the promotion of high quality and cost-effective prescribing, initially within the NHS and more recently with ASCribe and Evergreen Life, working extensively with other health professionals and across organisations. I am driven by the need to do something useful, either in a paid or voluntary capacity and I am equally comfortable working alone or as part of a team. Throughout a 20-year relationship with Bolton School as a parent, and latterly a Governor, I have organised many fundraising & engagement events and introduced lasting initiatives, such as a series of talks for parents using high-profile external speakers to assist with some of the issues around parenting teenagers. My particular focus now is voluntary fundraising, as a founder member of the eBay team at Bolton Hospice. In addition, I work with the Development Office at Bolton School on the Friends of Bolton School programme.
