As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I am trained in preventative care, illness treatment, order lab/radiology tests and prescribe medication for children and adults. I am a licensed practitioner, responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care needs for patients, in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care. I bring a comprehensive approach to health care, while also maintaining a caring partnership with patients and collaborating with health care team members. My passion is treating neurological disorders. I have been in the field of neuroscience since 1992. I am a certified neuroscience registered nurse and am Certified with Added Qualification in Headache Medicine from the National Headache Foundation. I have worked as a nurse practitioner in adult neurology since 1996. I specialize in headache management, concussion, neck pain, back pain and other chronic neurological disorders. I have strong management skills and I am eager to do my job well and with the best possible outcomes.
