- In 2018, I moved from the United Kingdom to the United States in order to pursue an education (bachelor's) in Business Administration and subsequently Global Mental Health (master's), all whilst playing college soccer at NCAA D2 and NAIA level. I have also undertaken internships in sports marketing and psychology. - Previous jobs in order to save up to cover my costs of education prior to moving country were mainly in retail, and taught me a plethora of people skills and the importance of working hard to earn my money in whichever work environment that I am in. - In terms of my career as a student-athlete, I graduated from my bachelor's degree Summa Cum Laude in business administration whilst earning academic all-conference awards and presidential honour roll. This earned me a place on a master's programme in Global Mental Health with a sport focus. In the 2022 season, I was named to the all-conference second team, my first athletic awards of my time in America. - One more thing that is an extremely important and valuable life experience for me was a car wreck that I was a passenger in, in March 2019. I underwent two brain surgeries and a traumatic brain injury, two spinal surgeries amongst seven surgeries total. This gave me a totally different perspective on life, and taught me in the greatest way resilience, the ability to bounce back and gave me a particular interest in counselling, mental health and sport psychology.
