In September 2021 I left clinical practice to focus my time, energy and skills on supporting the vital and exciting transformation to sustainability in the health system with the amazing team at the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare. I have over 25 years experience working in the NHS and publicly funded addiction services. I was the lead consultant for the Norfolk addiction services for over 10 years. Since 2015 I have been increasingly involved in climate education, outreach and activism. I continue to be a speaker for Greenpeace and an active member of Psych declares and Doctors for Extinction Rebellion. I am driven by my love for my three children ( now young adults) and the beauty and majesty of the natural world on which we all depend.
