I am a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon and have been working as a Consultant in Salisbury District Hospital since 2008. I undertake private work in New Hall Hospital, Salisbury and am a visiting consultant to the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre in Salisbury.On a regular basis, I perform spinal injections and surgeries including slip disc operations, spinal fusions, disc replacement, cement augmentation for spinal fractures (vertebroplasty/ kyphoplasty), fixation of spinal fractures, surgical treatment of spinal infections and tumours.I maintain a keen interest in research and in 2009, was awarded the John Fielding Young Researcher Award by the Cervical Spine Research Society. I have also been awarded Clinical Excellence Award on two occasions, by the Salisbury NHS Trust . I have served as the Treasurer and Chair of Professional Practice Committee of the British Association of Spine Surgeons. Between 2013-16, I was the Lead Clinician (Head of Department) of Orthopaedics in Salisbury.
