After spending four years working as a nurse, I realized how challenging healthcare is for everyone involved. I also discovered a love for healthcare technology and saw the incredible things data could do for the industry. This drove me to seek an MBA to find a place in healthcare technology and better understand the incentives that pull healthcare in so many different directions. My enthusiasm for healthcare technology grew through business school, where I got to learn a variety of skills in healthcare informatics, agile project management, and so much more. My favorite activity in grad school was going through the GalXc program where I created a business plan for a healthcare tech company and pitched for a competition. I currently work in product on an SDoH SaaS tool with $4.5M in revenue. I also sit on the board of Advent Health South Overland Park.
