I love being a pediatrician. I feel it is a privilege to create long-lasting relationships with families and to watch as their children grow and develop. The bond I form with children and their parents is the most rewarding part of my job. It is important that parents and children know that we are a team, and I try to create an environment that makes parents and children feel safe expressing their fears and concerns. I am so lucky that kids are my patients. Even when they are sick and the last place they want to be is the doctor's office, they still manage to make me smile. I am amazed by their resilience. I also have the privilege of working with other pediatricians and staff who are amazing at what they do. We all share the same goal of keeping kids healthy and thriving.
