After graduating from medical school in 1994, Dr. Nadeem started in psychiatric training in West Yorkshire in 2000 and went on to complete his higher psychiatric training in Oxford. He gained the membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2003 and then went on to work on psychopharmacological research at the University of Oxford. Furthermore, Dr. Nadeem did a masters degree in Clinical Psychiatry at Leeds University and is now is a Consultant psychiatrist and has been working for the NHS since 2006. Dr. Nadeem is currently the consultant for the Home Treatment team and for the drug alcohol service in Salford and regularly sees outpatients at the Priory Hospital, Altrincham. He specializes in Drug and alcohol dependence, addiction and general adult psychiatry; and has a particular interest in the treatment and recovery of alcohol or drug problems, dual diagnosis of patients with a combination of mental health problems and substance abuse, and the misuse of prescribed medication.
