Working as a rotational pharmacist at University Hospitals Dorset, where I work between The Royal Bournemouth Hospital, and Poole Hospital. I have completed my Older persons medicine rotation, and currently working as part of the General medicines team (Gastroenterology, and Respiratory). Completed my Foundation training year in a split placement between 6 months At Colchester General Hospital, and Green Elms GP surgery in Clacton-on sea. I managed to achieve a high grade in my Pre-registration exam, and collected comprehensive learning evidences in my E-portfolio I graduated from the University of Reading with a MPharm 1st class honours degree. I have also been award the Prize for best OSCE performance in part 4, where I achieved an average of 93% During my final year, I took a role in teaching 2nd year students once a week for 2 months on how to tackle some of the difficult exams they have. During my study years, I had been working in community pharmacy from 2nd year onwards as a pharmacy adviser/ dispenser, where i dispense medications and counsel patients about their conditions and how to manage them, within my competence. These working experiences have significantly improved my skills at patient counselling, as well as working under immense pressure everyday. I am a very hard working individual, who considers everyday to be a challenge and an opportunity to improve myself and get out of my comfort zone. I’m really excited about what the future holds and I aim to keep working hard to be better day by day. After all, there is no rest for the wicked 😁
