H. Norika Kawai is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine and an Acupuncture Physician who specializes in the following areas; sports medicine, pain management, weight management, aesthetic treatment and immune enhancement. Dr. Kawai is currently treating a number of high profile MLB players who have suffered sports injuries with very successful results. Her patients also include NBA, PGA, LPGA players, and many amateur athletes. She is an expert in helping athletes with sports injuries, pre and post-surgery treatments, muscle tension, posture correction, and improving their mobility, concentration and performance. Dr. Kawai is also a certified Acupoint Injection Therapy Practitioner and she administers homeopathic injections to treat facial rejuvenation, cellulite reduction, pain issues, immune enhancement, flu prevention, allergy prevention and B12 injections. She also incorporates the use of class IV-15 watts laser treatment and this combination has proven to be highly successful. Dr. Kawai has 12 years of experience in the healthcare industry and is also a former fitness trainer providing fitness and wellness programs and customized nutrition programs for individuals. She has developed, planned and executed programs ranging from weight management, to unique strength training and created nutritional programs for clients based on contemporary science combined with traditional Chinese medicine.
