I am a newly qualified Pharmacist as of August 2022. Qualified from De Montfort University Leicester with a 2:1 in MPharm in 2021. Completed 52 weeks of pre-registration training within two different independent community pharmacies in the West Midlands. Besides my pre-reg, I have had over 6 years experience working in different pharmacies where I would dispense patients medication, offer lifestyle advice, recommend suitable OTC medicines/items, communicate with patients and prescribers as well as answering their queries, working alongside different staff members and regularly cleaning/organising the pharmacy. Currently I will be working as a self-employed locum Pharmacist within the West Midlands but am willing to travel outside the West Midlands. My future career goals within the next 5 years consist of completing my independent prescribing, being confident to provide vaccinations services including for influenza, travel vaccines and COVID vaccines for example. As well as constantly perfecting my knowledge to provide the best care and information for patients (and other healthcare professionals). My main career goal is to eventually qualify as a specialist paediatric pharmacist due to my great interest in paediatric pharmacy.
