I'm a dedicated hand surgeon working on the three main Heart of England sites (Good Hope, Solihull, Heartlands), recently now taken over by UHB (United Hospitals Birmingham). My on call is an Orthopaedic Trauma surgeon at Queen Elizabeth but main interest is wrist arthroscopy. I've also started rooms in an around Birmingham covering Solihull, Worcester, Warwick and now central Birmingham. My NHS managerial responsibilities - Governance Lead T&O. My career aim is simple: 1. Raise the standard and knowledge of hand surgery to patients and colleagues. 2. Bring Hand Therapy to my practicing hospitals as a separate department.
