Dr. Guirgis Gabra, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician in the Heart and Vascular Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Gabra received his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Alexandria University in Egypt, where he was a General Practitioner until he completed his cardiology residency in 2003. He then received his master's degree in Cardiology from Ain Shams University, Cairo. Dr. Gabra has a number of years of experience in the Middle East and Canada. He participated in a new Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant (AHFT) program in Kuwait that started in 2010. His time serving at AHFT was focused on following up with the advanced heart failure, including LVAD, and post cardiac transplant, inpatients and outpatients. He also has extensive experience in Transthoracic Echocardiography under the supervision of McGill University, Montreal, Canada, as well as Transoesophageal Echo (TEE), Stress Echo (exercise or pharmacological), Treadmill ETT & Holter Monitoring Interpretation. In 2014, Dr. Gabra participated in the postgraduate excellence program on Acute Coronary Syndrome at Boston University, Massachusetts, US. WORK EXPERIENCE
