I have been working as a pharmacy technician in UK for over 12 years and I am registered with General Pharmaceutical Council. I have completed BTEC National higher level Diploma in pharmacy and BTEC National Diploma in Business and finance. I gained my experience in both community and hospital pharmacy. Each pharmacy I work for has their own specialty areas and I gained a lot of knowledges and skills. My main duties are: training new members of staff, providing day-to-day support at dispensary with dispensing mostly private, international and NHS prescriptions for Inpatient, outpatient and A&E patients. Paediatric, adult and geriatric medications like: ordinary medications, CD, fertility treatment, mental health, chemotherapy and clinical trials medications. Doing ward topup, emergency cupboards, attending hatch, counseling patients about each of the prescribed medications and I have good knowledge of selling and giving advice of over the counter medications, I also have good computer skills. I have used NDC, PIMS and JAC computer systems for dispensing, ordering, receiving and stock taking. I am familiar with Microsoft word, c++ computer program, database and excel. I love my job and the people I work with, I met some good people that will be friends for life. I had some amazing experiences and a lot of deep knowledge. I am always proactive, passionate in anything I am doing. I always want to make difference in my working environment and to each person I am looking after. When I am involved with project at work I want to do my best to achieve success with high standard.
