I hold a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and have worked in various clinical settings, including a GP surgery, a long-term counselling service, charity organisations, clinics and specialised working with women community services. I have a strong sense of compassion for people, and I am excellent at listening. My goal is to thoroughly comprehend the problem you are now facing, look for relationships and behaviour patterns, and collaborate with you to come up with solutions. I am an accredited psychotherapist with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and a British Psychology Society (BPS) member. I am providing in-depth, long-term counselling and psychotherapy or short-term work. I work with individuals and couples dealing with relationship issues, finding meaning and direction in life, anxiety, addictions, low self-esteem, work-related issues, creativity, and sexuality. I offer psychotherapy and EMDR to adults and young people who are looking to improve relationships with themselves and others. I use my training and experiences to work with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship problems, work issues, anger, low self-esteem, bereavement, work-related issues, creativity, and sexuality and manage daily living and various other difficulties.EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a relatively new trauma therapy. It is a highly effective treatment for people who have had traumatic experiences. It is also helpful for a variety of emotional and behavioural problems in adults, including phobias, panic attacks, anxiety, low self-esteem and addictions. Couples Counselling An attachment-based approach and Gottman to relationship counselling inform my work with couples. I have developed knowledge and experience supporting couples seeking help with their relationship difficulties. Increased closeness, respect, and affection are among the objectives of the method of Couples Therapy. An approach to couples counselling is focused on assisting couples in identifying and resolving issues, deepening their understanding and appreciation of one another, and enhancing the general health of their relationship. I offer therapy sessions in North London, E8 Dalston in Hackney, centrally located with easy access from central London. I offer a quiet and confidential space to help share your concerns.
