I am a trained and experienced psychodynamic Supervisor for trainees and qualified clinical professionals working open-endedly or in time-limited models within a variety of settings (NHS, education, private practice, and the charitable sector). I am also a qualified Supervisor of Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy within the NHS and in other settings. My trainings include Psychotherapy Membership of the Society of Analytical Psychology (SAP), a Postgraduate Diploma (1994) and an MA (2001) in Psychodynamic Counselling from Reading University and a Diploma in Supervision with the SAP. I am also a qualified practitioner, supervisor and trainer in (IAPT-approved) Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy, an evidence-based brief-therapy model, accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council. My first degree was in Physiology (BSc Hons, 1975) from Leeds University. I have worked as a tutor in the training of psychotherapists at Oxford University (Cont. Ed. Dept). I am a BPC-accredited Psychodynamic Psychotherapy member of the Society of Analytical Psychology. I work from a Jungian perspective. Most of my therapeutic work is now in private practice in West Berkshire, close to Newbury, Basingstoke and Reading. Currently I am offering in-person supervision, with some NHS supervision via telephone and video-link if necessary.
