I am a Deputy Chief Medical Officer and Consultant Psychiatrist at the American Centre of Psychiatry and Neurology, UAE, where I lead the clinical team and provide high-quality care to patients with various mental health conditions. I have an MD in Psychiatry from Keele University, UK, and I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. I am also a Professor of Psychiatry and Dementia at Aston Medical School, Aston University, UK, and a Visiting Professor of Dementia Care at Chester University, UK. Additionally, I hold adjunct professorships in psychiatry at Cairo University, Egypt, and Khalifa University, UAE. My core competencies include Old Age Psychiatry, Dementia Care, Memory Clinic, Liaison Psychiatry. Neuropsychiatry, and Psychiatric Education and Research. I have clinical skills in applying psychological therapies in my clinical practice. I am eager to support young people to improve their mental health, building their confidence and achieve their full potential through recovery process. I have contributed to multiple publications, patents, and projects in these fields, and I have received several awards and honors for my work. I am passionate about improving the quality of life and well-being of people with dementia and their caregivers, and I have developed and implemented innovative and evidence-based models of care and interventions. I also enjoy teaching and mentoring the next generation of psychiatrists and researchers, and I have collaborated with various academic and clinical partners across the globe.
