Mr Gavin Schaller is a Consultant Orthopaedic specialising in Hand and Wrist Surgery conditions in both Hertfordshire and London. He currently sees patients within the West Hertfordshire NHS Teaching Trust and private patients at Spire Bushey Hospital, One Hatfield Hospital and Pine Hill Hospital. Mr Schaller completed his medical degree at Imperial College London before going on to train in trauma and orthopaedics in London in the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital training rotation. He has completed both plastic and orthopaedic hand and wrist fellowships in East Grinstead and Chelsea & Westminster Hand unit and has been awarded the European Diploma in Hand Surgery. Mr Schaller is also a Fellow in Trauma and Orthopaedics of the Royal College of Surgeons and a Member of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand. Mr Schallers practice encompasses the entire spectrum of hand and wrist disorders, ranging from trauma and sports-related injuries to conditions like arthritis, Dupuytren’s disease, and nerve compressions. His patient-centred approach places a strong emphasis on ensuring clear communication with patients regarding their diagnosis, investigative procedures, and treatment options during clinic visits.
