I am a 31-year old Ukrainian refugee forced to leave my country due to the war, now living in London with my husband and 4 year old son. In Ukraine I had built a successful career as a pharmacist (I qualified in 2014), and pharmacy manager. Now in the UK I am keen to progress my career, while recognising that I will need to requalify as a pharmacist to practice. I arrived in the UK with no English, but am developing my language skills quickly (my current level is B1, but rising fast). My ambition is to secure a role as a pharmacy assistant until September 2024, when I plan to enrol for a 1 year conversion course to requalify as a UK pharmacist. I then plan to practice as a pharmacist in the UK, and help my family rebuild our lives here. I am bright, very well organised, and a strong team worker with excellent management skills. I learn quickly, am extremely resilient, and take responsibility readily. I am also polite and sociable, and very diligent. I hope you will be able to give me an opportunity to rebuild my career here in the UK, and I am confident that I will repay that trust by being an excellent employee.
