Dr. Shailesh Khode, MBBS, MS-ENT, MRCSEd(ENT), DOHNS(UK), FEBORLHNS(Austria), FACS, is an Associate Staff Physician in the Surgical Specialties Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and specializes in ear, nose and throat diseases and surgery. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Khode worked as a Staff Physician in the ENT, Head and Neck Surgery department at the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Singapore for four years. He was awarded as a five time service champion based on his high ratings of patient satisfaction and clinical service. Dr. Khode received his medical degree from the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Maharashtra, India. He subsequently completed his otolaryngology residency at Government Medical College, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. Following this he completed a one year head and neck onco-surgical and research fellowship at Sir JJ group of Hospital & Grant Medical College, Mumbai, India. He gained extensive experience working as an assistant professor at the ENT department of Indira Ghandi Government Medical College, Nagpur, India for three years and following that as a senior lecturer in the ENT department at MAHSA University College in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia. Dr. Khode is involved and enjoys teaching residents, medical students and nursing staffs on topics related to ENT. Dr. Khode has been part of and led many clinical research studies in India and Singapore and has also been prominently featured in various publications in international journals. He has given numerous presentations in national and international conferences. Dr. Khode resides in Abu Dhabi with his family. He enjoys playing soccer, tennis, bowling and captain ball.
