He has won many physician and patient choice awards as well as the Physician of the Year for the National Republican Congressional Committee™. Ditz has been the doctor for private individuals and for many executive officers and politicians, both foreign and domestic, military and civilian, and was offered, but declined a position as the private physician for the then serving Vice President of the United States Al Gore. Dr. Ditz has expertise in multiple fields and is both a local and a national lecturer in many subjects including insomnia, osteoporosis, hypertension, depression, asthma, diabetes mellitus, and antibiotic therapies. He provides seminars for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and others and has been the main presenter at the Grand Rounds at the Florida Hospital and many other institutions to help to educate all of their medical staff of all specialties.
