Dr. Chrisopoulos graduated first from the School of Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2007, where she received awards for academic excellence upon completion of her studies. She completed a three-year postgraduate specialty program at Columbia University in New York, where she obtained also a Masters of Science degree in Prosthodontics from Columbia University in New York, where she graduated with honors. She then became Chief Fellow in the Implant Periodontal Prosthodontics Fellowship at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Dr Chrisopoulos has presented her research projects at numerous national and international dental meetings, and has been involved in teaching dental students as a Clinical Instructor since 2009. She is the recipient of a regional research award from the American College of Prosthodontics North East Section, as well as several scholarships and honorary awards. She is a member of the Northern Virginia Dental Society, American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontics. With her genuine nature, has helped manage many patients with dental anxiety and phobia, and volunteers in programs that provide free dental treatment to people in need. The scope of her life and career goals is summarized in an Aristotle saying: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”
