Following a rewarding career as communications director for three national organisations, I am now working freelance - providing senior support to research and membership organisations in health, education and social care. Recent clients include Nuffield Foundation, Nuffield Trust, Royal College of Podiatry, Rand Europe, Infection Prevention Society. With extensive experience across the communications mix, I offer independent consultancy services to organisations reviewing their communications function or strategy; work with clients to develop impact strategies and dissemination programmes for major projects; provide interim senior cover for comms teams; facilitate team development days and deliver presentation skills training, mentoring and copy editing. Trustee of What Works for Early Intervention and Children's Social Care, non-executive director for the Evidence Quarter.
