Dr. Fernando Dorrego, MD, is an Internal Medicine specialist in Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated medical school from Instituto Superior de Ciencias Medicas de Santiago de Cuba (Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Santiago de Cuba) in 1999, having almost 20 years of diverse experience, especially in Internal Medicine. He completed his residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York City in internal medicine. Prior to that he completed a residency in Cuba at Facultad de Ciencias Medicas Celia Sanchez Manduley (The Faculty of Medical Sciences of Celia Sanchez Manduley ) in Holguin, Cuba. Dr. Dorrego has served as a Primary Care Physician in Cuba, Venezuela, and the US. He has also spent a significant amount of time working in hospital medicine.
