My name is Ferdinand Akoh and l am a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I obtained my bachelors degree from UNLV in 2003 and a masters degree from University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston in 2018. My 19-year career in healthcare includes experiences in the Emergency Room and Trauma, Urgent Care setting, and Family Practice. As a family Nurse Practitioner, l am Licensed to take care of patients across the lifespan, that is from infancy to the elderly. As Nurse Practitioners we look at the whole person rather just the disease process presenting at each particular case at hand. Patient’s rights, dignity, satisfaction and above all safety are at the core of my practice as a provider. My goal as a provider is to provide the most cost-effective evidence-based care tailored towards each individual patient’s needs.
