I am a Consultant Vitreoretinal Surgeon. I am privileged to work in a world renowned Ophthalmic Tertiary Referral Centre (Manchester Royal Eye Hospital) in the United Kingdom . I am also the Director of the Acute Ophthalmic Services. I work both in the NHS as well as in the Private Sector in Manchester, United Kingdom. I specialise in all retinal conditions such as Age related Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Eye Disease, Retinal Detachments, Routine and Complex Retinal Surgery as well as Routine and Complex Cataract Surgery. My primary aim is to provide all my patients with the best possible treatment for their eye conditions. I am very keen to open new links and research avenues with other colleagues and the ophthalmic related industry which will ultimately benefit my patients. I am involved In teaching medical, optometry and nursing students as well as training postgraduate doctors.
