I have extensive experience in Psychiatry and have worked with both adults, children and adolescents. However, my main expertise is working with children and adults with Learning Disability and Autistic Spectrum Disorders who present with Forensic History or Challenging Behavoiur. I have managed such patients in conditions of Medium as well as Low security and Locked Rehab wards. I have also worked with similar patients as part of a Community LD team. I also managed children and adolescents with LD or ASD in a PICU setting. For the last three years, I worked in a CAMHS service managing patients in the Specialist Community Team as well as the ADHD Team. I also worked in the ASC pathway, assessing patients for autism as well as combined Autism and ADHD. I currently manage an inpatient unit for children and adolescents. I am also a trained EMDR therapist.
