Dr. Fabian Byer earned his dental degree from SUNY @ Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in Buffalo, N.Y. Post graduation, he completed a general practice residency at Buffalo General Hospital. Originally from Barbados, his passion for dentistry was ignited at a young age as he watched a loved one endure the challenges of living without teeth and being unable to afford dental care. The first of his immediate family to graduate from high school, he left his home at 19 years old to further his education here in America. He enjoys teaching and was a clinical instructor at his dental school before moving to the Atlanta area. Dr. Byer has served as a general dentist to a diverse population, including the developmentally challenged, children, military personnel, uninsured immigrants and nursing home residents. He loves getting to know people from all cultures and backgrounds. His core values include honesty, compassion, integrity, discipline and humility. One of his primary goals is to educate patients about the value of a healthy and stable oral cavity. Dr. Byer is deeply committed to his patients and is grateful for the opportunity to serve and help them maintain or restore a happy and healthy smile. He believes everyone deserves to have a smile they can be proud of. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Byer is a devoted family man and sports enthusiast. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife, daughter, and pet Pekingese and is committed to his personal growth and development journey, striving to be the best version of himself. His philosophy is keep it simple, always believe in yourself and be grateful for what you have.
