Kayla Sellers decided to practice family medicine because she believes that is where she can make the most significant impact in preventive health. She works to form partnerships with people in her care and always wants them to know they have a voice in the healthcare choices they make. Her goal is to build trust with each person and address their health as holistically as possible, including physical, mental, and spiritual health. Kayla works with adolescents through the geriatric ages and has an interest in helping people with anxiety, depression, and diabetes. Kayla approaches her own health holistically as well and enjoys cooking healthy food, connecting with family and friends often to bring balance and peace, and staying physically active. She enjoys traveling internationally to experience different cultures and hiking at United States National Parks. She feels most alive and at her best outdoors.
