Janet Austen CRNP-F graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s College in Newburgh New York with her B.S.N. She obtained her M.S.N. (Family Nurse Practitioner) from the University of Maryland. Janet worked with her B.S.N. as a nurse for 30 years. Her experience included Charge Nurse of a Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Float at multiple hospital departments which included medical intensive care, E.R., pediatrics, Orthopedics, Kidney transplant unit, Cardiac Care Unit and Medical Surgical units. She presently works as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has spent the last 17 years working as a nurse practitioner in Internal medicine, Primary care, and Urgent Care expanding her experience and knowledge. Her clinical interests are diabetes and hypertension. She enjoys helping people.
