I am a qualified Pharmacist by profession and a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and the General Pharmaceutical Council. I have over 30 years post qualification experience as a Scientist and Academic (Lecturer and Researcher; King’s College, London and University of Ibadan, Nigeria), A Community Development worker, a Community Pharmacist and a Fellow of the School of Social Entrepreneur, Liverpool trade up and London scale up programs, UK. I am the author of several peer-reviewed scientific papers. I have published books including Christian Books such as The Anointing Of God. As a scientist, I worked extensively on anti-oxidants from plant origin especially of the edible vegetables with a view of promoting a health awareness of the use of antioxidants in the prevention of over a hundred disease conditions based on oxidative stress in humans. These conditions range from neurodegenerative to heart diseases, AIDS and Cancer. I have also received many Fellowships and awards for my research in Pharmacognosy, where I have conducted Ethnobotanical Surveys; Phytochemical Screening and Biological evaluations of ethnopharmacologically based recipes. Isolation, purification and characterisation/structural elucidation of bioactive components from medicinal plants using techniques such as HPLC, Mass spec, NMR In-vivo and in vitro biological evaluations Toxicological evaluations of bioactive constituents and extracts Formulation studies and clinical trials I am also an executive Director of Highway Hope Charity, I am also an ordained minister of the New Covenant Church, Manchester where I assist my husband who is the senior pastor of the church. Highway Hope is a social enterprise that transforms, empowers and supports local residents in Greater Manchester through a range multi-purpose cultural, social and learning activities including coding club, music and supplementary school for young people I am now specialising in the utilisation of traditional medicinal plants and plant foods as natural sources of health remedies for humans as a visiting senior lecturer with the University of Ibadan, Nigeria focusing on mood disorders and cardiovascular diseases
