NHS Outsourced medicines supply services lead for the North West England, advising on the management of homecare, procurement and external compounding. My current role involves working at a national and regional level to collaboratively determine strategies and cost effective long-term solutions for the procurement and management of outsourced medicine services primarily by the hospital sector of the NHS. Previous to this role, I was a homecare and high cost drugs pharmacist specialising in Rheumatology, Ophthalmology and Gastroenterology. I have also maintained my experience in community pharmacy, which provides me with a unique multifaceted perspective on pharmacy. I have completed a diploma in Clinical Pharmacy and the Independent Prescribing qualification, in addition to the MPharm Masters degree achieving First Class honours.
