Clinical Practice Placements Experiences: 1. Prospect Park Hospital Reading (8 weeks): Working with older adult patients. Applied standardized and non-standardised assessments and created group activities for the patients. Prioritising patients according to their needs and screening them to identify the level of priority. 2. Warwick Hospital (10 weeks): Working in acute medical and orthopaedics wards. Working with busy caseloads. Identifies what assessments and processes need an OT for a safe discharge. 3. St Basils Leamington Spa (10 weeks): Role emerging placement working with young adults (16-25 years old) with mental health disabilities. I had to identify through my placement how I could support the service users. I have created an OT course which I was running twice weekly. That course included group activities and sessions regarding activities of daily living on how they need to be prepared for living independently.
