I have been a community pharmacist for 24 years. I am the Community pharmacist neighbourhood lead for our area I am a strong advocate of the system leadership. Our pharmacy is a very important place for our community as even if we are one of the busiest dispensing pharmacy in the area my main focus is delivering private and NHS services. I was able to lead the team in delivering a successful model recognized by the neighbourhood and I have built and continue to build communication bridges between surgeries and local pharmacies to increase delivery of GPCPCS and ABPM referrals, which culminated in me becoming one of the highest-performing pharmacists. I am also a certified practice supervisor for undergraduate pharmacy students, and I contribute to the formation of new pharmacists. I believe in empowering my team and I always support and encourage their continuous development. I won the Best Pharmacist of the Year award at the Day Conference 2014 and 2023. My vision aligns with my company, and I would like to see community pharmacies becoming the primary care site of the high street.
