As an EMDR therapist, I feel great passion for helping clients recover from adverse or traumatic experiences and walking alongside them as they begin to see the world through a new lens. Trauma and other mental health struggles greatly affect our important relationships - and our relationships impact our mental health. Helping clients build healthy relationships is central to my therapeutic approach. Together, we'll foster self-understanding and self-compassion, uproot negative or limiting patterns that no longer serve you, and work collaboratively to discover your most authentic 'you.' We'll find ways to infuse a little humor, too!I offer individual, couple, premarital, and family sessions. In our sessions, you can expect a science-based explanation behind the skills we discuss (knowledge is power!), as well as encouragement, empathy, and a truly nonjudgmental approach. Skills training in emotion regulation, coping, communication, and emotional intelligence are integral to my work.Clients' holistic wellness is a top priority in my therapeutic process. Together, we'll analyze your overall well-being, including emotional, social, physical, and even professional, then create specific goals to get you on the path to balance and fulfillment.
